European Roulette Wheel
The European roulette wheel has 37 pockets which start at 0 and then move from 1 to 36. You are able to place a bet on each of these numbers. The European roulette wheel is divided into two colors – red and black- and each number on the wheel and roulette table is assigned a color. There is also the green pocket that holds the number 0.
The numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15 and 17 are in the color black. They are found on the outer circle on the right-hand side of the number 0. The numbers 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 32, 34, and 36 are in the color red, also found on the outer circle of the roulette wheel.
A similar layout is seen on the left-hand side of the number zero. The numbers 20, 22, 26, 28, 29, 31, 33 and 35 appear in black while numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 16 and 18 appear in red.
