Types of Sic Bo Bets
There are different bets in sic bo that have varying odds, which will result in different payouts. So, you need to know which bets to place to win the ultimate real money prize.
Total Bets
Totals bets involve betting on a total of all three dice numbers that range from 4-17. Total bets are one of the simplest bets in sic bo. So, the odds payout will differ based on the probability of a certain total occurring. You don’t have to memorize the payout odds because they are displayed on the table in the betting squares. For example, the probability of rolling a total of 16 is 34:1, and the payouts odds on this are 31:1 so, the house edge is 11,04%.
Big and Small Bets
Small and Big bets involve betting on a total of three dices, essentially, wagering on whether the numbers formed will be big or small. Essentially, a small bet is a roll between 4 and 10, and a big bet is between 11 and 17. Big and small bets don’t win when a triple bet is rolled. For example, three dice are rolled with any of the same three numbers.
So, the big and small bets are considered conservative bets because they payout 1:1 or even money. While the big and small bets have lower payout odds, they have a higher chance of appearing than other bets.
Combination Bets
Any two specific numbers that appear on the three dice are called combination bets. For instance, you could place a combination bet on 4 and 6. When the three dice are rolled, and 4,3 and 6 appear, your bet would win. It doesn’t matter what the number on the third die is. As long as you have the two combination numbers – your bet will win. The odds of this bet are 6:1 and you should expect the payout to be 6:1 as well.
Single Bets
When you place a single bet, you wager that a specific number will appear on any of the three dice. Many players consider a single bet one of the most difficult wagers to place because the odds of one number appearing on the three dice are 200:1. Also, the payout odds depend on how many dice resulted in your number appearing.
Therefore, if your number appears once, the payout will be 1:1, and if it appears twice, the payout will be 2:1, etc.
Double Bets
Placing a double bet means that you think two specific numbers will appear on two of the three dice. For example, you can bet that a double two will appear in the dice. If the result is 2,4,2, then your bet will win. So, you can bet on any double number between 1 and 6, and the payout is 10:1. However, the probability of rolling a double bet is 71:1.
Triple Bet
There are two types of triple bets that you will find: Specific and Any. So, betting on specific triple bets means you will win if you bet that a specific number between 1 and 6 appears on the three dice. The payout odds of this bet are 180:1.
However, when you bet on Any triple bet, you wager that any number will appear on all three dice at the same time. The payout odds on this wager are 30:1.
